New Members Aledo Angler's Club Meeting
 Attention students... if you are interested in fishing, recreationally or competitively, the Aledo High School Angler's club is seeking new members, available to students in 9-12 grade, next school year. An informational meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 2nd, 6:30pm, @ AHS, DLC room.

New to Aledo for the 2017-2018 School Year?
Below are some resources for students who are new to Aledo ISD and will be attending Daniel Ninth in the Fall of 2017.  
Appointments may be made with school personnel beginning June 5 to sit down and discuss course selections, etc.  Please call the school office at 817-441-4504 to schedule an appointment.

Exam Exceptions

Students may be exempt from taking Spring Semester final exams only, based on class average and daily attendance.  Students desiring to be exempt from Spring Semester final exams must fall into one of the following categories:

  • Maintain an overall class average between 75 and 79 percent and have no more than 1 class absence.*
  • Maintain an overall class average between 80 and 84 percent and have no more than 2 class absences.*
  • Maintain an overall class average between 85 and above and have no more than 3 class absences.*
In addition to class average and daily class attendance students must also have no Unexcused Absences as well as no disciplinary actions resulting in a total of 4 hours of Friday Night School, ISS, OSS or AEP.
*Students are permitted to have Extra-Curricular or College Day absences.

Aledo ISD has established the following policy for accepting checks and collecting bad checks: For a check to be an acceptable form of payment, it must include your current, full and accurate name, and address and telephone number. When paying by check, you authorize the recovery of unpaid checks and the recovery of the state-allowed fee by means of electronic re-presentment.
