The cheerleaders will be selling hot chocolate before school on Thursday for 50 cents. The cheerleaders wanted to do something to support the cheer squad from Iraan High School who lost their faculty sponsor through a tragic bus accident last weekend. Another sponsor and 7 cheerleaders were injured during a head-on collision with an 18-wheeler in Big Spring after their playoff win Friday night.
Please encourage your students to bring quarters on Thursday for a hot cup of coco. Let’s get in the SPIRIT!
Also, the cheerleaders are placing a collection bottle at the Ladycat Basketball tournament Thursday through Saturday at the AHS gym and at the front of Daniel Ninth Grade Campus.
The money raised through hot chocolate sales and donation buckets at the DNGC and the Ladycat Basketball Tournament will assist victims with funeral costs, medical expenses, and travel expenses for the families.
